Who we are

This website is run by nRg Praxis, a creative technology studio based in Bodhgaya, India ("we", "us"). We decide how your personal data is used here, so under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the Data Fiduciary. You can reach us at nrg.praxis@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Project enquiries (contact form): your first and last name, email, company, the service you're interested in, your budget range and your message.
  • Job applications (careers form): your name, email, discipline, portfolio link and message.
  • Emails, calls and WhatsApp messages you send us: whatever you choose to share.
  • Technical logs: our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to run and protect the site.

We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains the one small preference the site stores in your browser.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry or application, and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one.
  • To keep a record of our conversation if we go on to work together.
  • To keep the site secure and working.

We use the data from the forms because you consent to it when you tick the box and send. Server logs are kept because we need them to run the site safely. We don't send marketing emails, and we never sell or rent your data.

Who helps us process it

  • FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers form submissions to our inbox.
  • Google hosts our email (Gmail). When you open the Services style lens, some typefaces load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address.
  • Cloudflare hosts the website and keeps its server logs.

These providers may store data on servers outside India. We only use them to do the jobs above.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together. Project records are then kept for as long as the law and our agreement require.
  • Applications: up to 12 months, so we can contact you about future roles.
  • Server logs: for the short period our host keeps them.

Ask us to delete your data any time and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct, complete, update or delete it;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn't affect what we did before you withdrew it);
  • nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you're unable to;
  • raise a grievance with us, and, if we don't resolve it, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, email nrg.praxis@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". We'll reply as soon as we can, within the time the law allows.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable providers, keep access to our inbox limited to the team, and only ask for what we need. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your data ever happened, we would tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change matters, we'll make it clear here.
